Joy Comes in the Morning

“For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning” –Psalm 30:5 NKJV

I, sort of, coined a favorite term many years ago, “AFTER the crucifixion comes the resurrection”.

Now, y’all know what that refers to, and, if you don’t, comment below or send me a message – I’d be more than happy to share it with you.

In any case, the writer of Psalm 30 put it a different way saying, “Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning”.

In our lives, we will face various trials and tribulations – we will be crucified, weeping may endure for a night. But, the resurrection comes after – joy comes in the morning!

And, I’ve noticed, the greater the trial, the greater the tribulation, the greater the challenge … The greater the joy!

All we gotta do is hang on!

And, with God’s help, we can!

That is why I can say, after all we’ve all been through these last several years, good things are coming.

Weeping has endured for a night, joy is coming.

We’ve experienced a time of crucifixion, the resurrection is near.

All thanks, praise and glory be unto almighty God.

Amen!
